Morgan Ren is from Zhengzhou, China, and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. His research focuses on machine-learning-driven digital twins for tunnel monitoring and restoration.
Morgan is an interdisciplinary researcher whose interests span artificial intelligence, civil engineering, quantitative finance, and digital twins. Before beginning his PhD, he worked on quantitative trading in the cryptocurrency market and on multi-agent AI research. He holds an MSc in Financial Technology from UCL and a BSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Manchester.
